    my mouth is watering! I was looking at some ideas for friends coming over but cant yuo serve any of these without the standard chutney and sambhar….i mean i know they go well but i don;t want to work so hard!

    You forgot to mention the Payasam and the Bisibele Huli Anna. Both of these are very lovely recipes and can be had as a sweet and a meal respectively.

    Wonderful list . Maybe U can also include Neer Dosa , a Mangalore speciality , Recipes prepared using Poha , known as Avalakki in Karnataka , like Gojjavalakki & Avalakki Bisibelebhaath , Bread Upma , Sevai Upma etc .

    Plz include recipes that can b prepared with Poha or Avalakki , as it is known in Karnataka . These include Oggarane Avalakki , Avalakki Bisibelebhaath , Gojjavalakki & Mosaravalakki .
