Braised paneer recipe, Quick easy paneer

    paneer-braised

Braised paneer made same way as with tofu. Quick video, step by step detailed pictures post.

I follow a famous Korean Youtube channel called One meal a day and big fan of it. Even got obsessed with the signature long handle spoons she uses and bought spoons similar to those. Love many recipes and always want to adapt those in my cooking. One such recipe of braised tofu was super easy and tempting.

I tried earlier once when I made butter garlic fried rice, you can notice it the background. Followed the same method as it was made in the video, but I overcooked the paneer (slow cooked) so it became rubbery. Probably tofu was okay to be cooked by that method. But it was not the perfect way to cook paneer though boys at home told it was fine.

Made it again to post it after I got some fresh paneer (Suvai) which was why I postponed making again. This time slight changes in method after I saw several other braised tofu recipe videos. This time I loved the texture a lot. So this is a super easy, simple paneer recipe. You can make it with tofu very well. Just make sure to season perfectly to suit your taste buds.
