Method
- Break open the custard apple and scoop the pulp from it to a blender.
- You can use any blade but care should be taken not to grind or break the seeds as seeds or not healthy to consume. So you should just use the juice/ pulse button in the mixer to give quick run and make the seeds separate from the pulp.
- With chilled water, just run the mixer for few seconds to separate the seed from pulp. Strain through a metal strainer.
- Repeat if needed and mix in sugar, salt and transfer to the serving glass.
Notes
- I have tried using the whip blade (Round shaped) It takes long time to separate the seed from pulp but never lets the seed get ground.
- Adjust sugar, water as per your taste. But the juice tastes best when thick.
- Salt is optional.
