Jam coconut bread toast roll ups, easy bread recipes

December 13, 2016 by Raks Anand 16 Comments /

sweet-bread-rolls
Easy kids friendly snack or breakfast with bread, jam and coconut, rolled and toasted with butter. I love the combo of jam and coconut a lot as in honey cake. So wanted to try something easy with the same combo and ended up making this toast rolls. Also I wanted to try something like this as sweet bread toast rolls after I was tempted by French toast roll ups. This turned out yummy obviously with all the favourite items – jam, butter, bread and coconut. try this for a fancy weekend breakfast or snack for your kids. Everyone else at home too would love.

Notes

  • Arrange the rolls with sealed edge in the bottom. If it opens up while toasting, just press and keep it rolled.
  • If you want you can use desiccated coconut.

Thanks 🙂 Condensed milk coconut will be nice too, just have to make sure not to add too much otherwise could get soggy.

    Hello Raji,

I have prepared it now for my neighbor's children and they loved it. I have prepared it with brown bread. But my rolls were not sealed properly.

What would have become of me if not for your cooking website 🙂 Thank you so much.

I think you should try other brand. If bread is too dry it might break.

If the bread is too dry it will break. Try buying soft breads like milk bread.
