Navratri festival recipes collection. Sundal, sweet, snack recipes for the festival. What better way to celebrate festivals other than these food.

Navaratri is a Hindu festival observed for 9 days worshiping Goddess Durga. Personally I look forward to the festival for it's colorful celebrations by keeping golu.
People also visit each others house for golu hopping as well as Haldi Kumkum (vetrilai paaku thamboolam).
Here are the recipes I already have in my blog, that can be prepared during Navaratri. These can be offered to God, also as prasadam to the guests coming for Golu.
During these days, some people do not consume even onion and garlic. Check out my no onion no garlic recipes.

Hi, thank you for the recipes. I have been using ur recipes for quite sometime. All of them have turned out yummy. Thank you for giving out detailed instructions in every step. It is what differentiates you from others. In this recipe adding jaggery will it not sweeten puliyotharai? What is the purpose of adding jaggery? Thanks in advance.

We are adding very little when compared to the other ingredients, so you wont even know the presence, rather it will enhance all the other tastes
