Pasta sundal is a fusion of traditional healthy snack with pasta added to make it a perfect snack for kids.

This year since I am away on a vacation, could not keep golu. But made this one long time back and had it in my drafts.
I have used desi macaroni (thin and quick cook), you can use any of your favorite, but highly recommend the small varieties as it should blend in the dish.
For sundal podi recipe, refer this post or this post. For a quick version, you can use idli podi.
Pasta sundal method
- Soak chana overnight. Before cooking, drain water and cook with little salt and enough water for 3 whistles in medium flame. Cook pasta too with salt, as per package instructions, until soft. Do not overcook.
2. Heat a pan with oil and temper with the items given under ‘To temper’ table in order. Add cooked chana drained from water. Then add little salt and give it a fry.
3. After that, in goes cooked pasta, mix well. Furthermore, sprinkle sundal podi or idli podi.
4. Lastly add grated coconut and mix well.
It is very delicious and filling with pasta in it. Enjoy as such!
