Maa ladoo recipe
Maa ladoo or maa laddu is a healthy snack prepared for kids packed with nutrients. A quick and easy recipe under 30 mins.
Servings: 14 ladoo
- 1 cup Pottukadalai
- ¾ cup Sugar
- ¼ cup Ghee
- 1 Cardamom
- 8 Cashew nuts
Powder pottukadalai first to a fine powder.
Next powder sugar with cardamom to a fine powder.
Sieve pottukadalai to remove any unground/ coarse things from it.
Heat ghee, fry cashew nuts until golden in colour.
Place powdered pottukadalai, sugar in a mixing bowl, add the ghee with cashews to it and mix well.
Shape to rounds and arrange plate.
If you are not able to shape it, add 1 or 2 teaspoon of ghee more and shape it.
I always like my ladoos in sweeter side, so if you want you can reduce the sugar.
The pottukadalai can also be roasted before powdering. Make sure you roast in medium flame without changing its color.
