Onion coconut chutney
Onion coconut chutney is best side dish for appam, kanji or even vendhaya dosai. With just 3 main ingredients, easy to whip up and quick too.
Servings: 3 people
Grind coconut and red chilli with salt to a coarse paste.
Add peeled onion and very little water, like ¼ cup water and grind coarsely just for few seconds
- Do not grind smoothly. This is meant to be coarse for proper flavour and texture.
- You can temper with oil, mustard, urad dal.
